Ingredients
- 1 white pipe cleaner
- 1 cup baking powder
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon of salt
- Food coloring (multiple colors)

Instructions
- Bend the pipe cleaner into an egg shape and twist the ends together to hold it in place.
- Place the egg upright in a shallow dish so that the bottom touches the surface.
- Mix 1 cup baking powder, 1/2 cup warm water and 1 tablespoon salt until mostly dissolved.
- Divide the mixture into small bowls and add different food colorings to each bowl.
- Use a dropper to apply different colored solutions to the bottom of the pipe cleaner.
- Allow the liquid to slowly rise to the top as the colors mix and crystals begin to form.
- Leave the egg undisturbed for several hours until it is covered with colorful crystals.
Notes
Use warm water for better resolution. Experiment with different colors for unique patterns.
